Beautiful residence overlooking the Dana Point harbor.

Harbor View Residence

Perched high on a hill in the beach town of San Clemente, this 3,400 sf. home affords a commanding view of beautiful Dana Point harbor. The unique property presented a rare opportunity to capture views from every room, while maintaining privacy for the owners.
A skylight runs the length of the structure, allowing natural light to filter into the deepest spaces, while great room doors open onto a generous patio shaded by soaring sails that reflect the Marina influence.

Falcon House

Designed in partnership with DesignARC.

The 3,200 SF residence occupies a difficult portion of a northern sloped hillside, overlooking a verdant valley toward Castle Rock. The steep terrain necessitated a compartmentalized plan capable of negotiating the gentle hillock at the center of the site. A corridor/bridge spans between two pieces of the house, uniting living and sleeping spaces, and allowing an existing watercourse to flow essentially through the house unobstructed.
'Falcon House' received a Merit Award from the Orange County chapter of the prestigious American Institute of Architecture (AIA) in 2008.

The Chadwick

A 500 unit apartment complex in the Korea Town district of Los Angeles was completely renovated to become a contemporary example of mid-century architecture. Elements teamed with Landscape Architect Lane Goodkind and associates to modernize all common areas.

Laguna Beach Residence

Natural gray integral colored plaster and standing seam metal roofs are the primary textures of this single-family residence located on a bluff top at the north end of Laguna Beach. Upper decks provide terraced sitting areas that open up to the same view.
Upon entering, one is treated to a spectacular ocean view, along with a generous allowance of natural light spilling through the vaulted skylight that runs through the gallery space.

Montecito

Designed in partnership with DesignARC.

Designed for a local developer, this upscale complex is located near downtown Walnut Creek in the East Bay San Francisco area. The architecture and landscape reflect the style of early California. The residential wings surround a courtyard that opens up to a new public park. It is a four level, 120 unit building on a concrete podium over two levels of subterranean parking.
